William A. Bryan Senior Leader Award
This award is presented to the member of the senior class who best
exemplifies the ideals of service to others, collaboration, leadership
and devotion to UNCW.

This award is presented to the member of the senior class who best
embodies the ideals of service to others, commitment to social justice
and collaborative leadership.
- Senior, Graduating in May or December
- G.P.A. of 2.67 or higher
- Improves Community and Society
- Leading through Example of Service
Senior Medallion Award
The Senior Medallion is the most prestigious award presented by the
Division of Student Affairs on behalf of the university community.
- Record of Significant Campus Involvement over the course of an
undergraduate experience - Academic Achievement of 3.00 G.P.A or higher
- Demonstrated Commitment to improving the university
community through collaborative leadership and service - Evidence of Personal Character noted for integrity, fortitude
and unselfishness - Embodiment of Spirit, which exemplifies a passion for
supporting and encouraging a campus community that
is purposeful, open, disciplined, just, diverse and caring
Distinguished Service Award
| The Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to a select group of students who have made a significant contribution to UNCW over the course of their undergraduate experience. The recipient must have achieved senior status through credits completed, possess a record of good citizenship and good academic standing. In addition, the student must have exhibited one or more of the following characteristics: |
- Outstanding Act of Leadership
- Unique Act of Kindness and regard for humanity
- Record of Exceptional Performance in Service to a university registered group or organization
- Genuine and Contagious Positive Attitude
- Sustained Promotion of Community Spirit
- Initiator of Constructive Dialogue, which has encouraged reflection and positive change within the university community
