This activity allows visiting artists the opportunity to share their expertise with students in the classroom. Lasting from 1-2 hours, a master class is an event in which student musicians, actors or dancers present works, or parts of works, for the visiting professional performer. The student receives suggestions on technique, performance skills, and/or interpretation. Students selected to perform in a master class are prepared in advance in order to receive a maximum benefit from the experience.
Free and open to the public for observation. Call 962.3285 or email artsinaction@uncw.edu for more information.
