Apply to be a 2009-2010 Community Resource Specialist!

 

What is a Community Resource Specialist?

Community Resource Specialists (CRS) are student leaders who are trained by The Office of the Dean of Students on campus resources and emergency procedures.  Only select apartment complexes are CRS properties.  The apartment complexes provide a discount on CRS rent in exchange for building community between UNCW students at their property. 

Community Resource Specialists (CRS) provide the following services for off campus students:

1. Connect UNCW students living in off-campus apartment complexes with UNCW resources.
2. Connect UNCW students living in off-campus apartment complexes with one another.
3. Connect UNCW students living in off-campus apartment complexes with the university during crisis/emergency situations.
