Orientation Session Dates
Students must attend Orientation prior to taking classes.
Students entering in Summer or Fall 2010:
Please be aware that you must attend a June Orientation Session in order to attend Summer II classes.

Freshman Orientation Reservation Deadlines:
Fri. May 14 for June Sessions
Thurs. July 29 for August Session
Refund Request Information
Requests for refunds must be received in writing by the Transition Programs Office by the deadline below. No refunds will be granted after the deadline. All requests should include:
- Student's name and identification number (850#)
- What your refund is for (i.e. early arrival for student and parents)
- Name and address of the refund recipient
Please email this information to transitions@uncw.edu. A refund check will be mailed within 3-4 weeks of receipt.
Freshman/Parent Orientation Refund Request Deadlines:
Mon. May 17 for June Sessions
Mon. Aug. 2 for August Session
Students who are no longer planning on attending the University need to notify the Admission Office to cancel their admission. If students have on-campus housing, they will also need to notify Residence Life and Housing in writing regarding your housing.
