Who is invited to UNCW's Family Weekend?

Parents, alumni, guardians, grandparents, siblings and family friends are all members of the Seahawk Family and are invited to UNCW's campus for a weekend of food, fun, and friendship.

 

Can younger siblings attend family weekend?

Yes! We welcome family members of all ages to join us in the festivities.  However, we do not provide any daycare/babysitting services during our programs.

Do I have to attend all of the events?

No, we have designed Family Weekend around letting you pick and choose which events appeal to you and your family.  However, we encourage you to take advantage of our programming to experience UNCW and the Wilmington area.

Where can I park on campus?

UNCW offers free visitor parking in parking lot F (located just off Wagoner Drive between Alderman Hall and Westside Hall). Additional visitor parking is available throughout campus by using a parking meter or by purchasing a parking pass. Can I purchase tickets on-site?

Tickets for all events can be purchased on-site for events that do not require pre-registration. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Can I request a refund if I cannot make it to an event or if there is bad weather?

No.  We cannot give refunds for any of the event once we have processed your registration form.  All events are scheduled to take place rain or shine, unless noted otherwise.
