What is a Seahawk Link?

 

The goal of the UNCW Seahawk Link program is to assist new students with their transition to college life during the first semester. Links are upperclass students who will assist students in getting involved on campus, making referrals to campus resources, and being a mentor to the new students.


How do Seahawk Links help?

UNCW Seahawk Links provide a support system to new students through weekly meetings, they work in conjunction with UNI class instructors to bring new students campus news and events and programming, they assist new students during Move-In, UNCWelcome, and Family Weekend, and they serve as an excellent resource for campus events and information.


Are all incoming students paired with a Seahawk Link?

No. Only incoming freshmen are paired with a UNCW Seahawk Link.


When will I find out who my Seahawk Link is?

Freshmen will be notified by the start of classes.


What can I do if my Seahawk Link and I do not get along?
