Student Organization Appreciation Day
The 2011 Student Organization Appreciation Day is planned for Tuesday, April 19, 2011 and will surely be a great success! We will be recognizing six out of the twelve Student Organization Leadership Award winners - Outstanding Marketing Campaign, Outstanding Diversity Program, Outstanding Social Program, Outstanding Educational Program, Outstanding Community Service, and the Outstanding New Student Leader - as well as the nominees in the six remaining categories - Student Organization of the Year (Teal and Gold categories), Outstanding Student Leader, Unsung Hero, Advisor of the Year, and the SGA Student Leader Scholarship. This is a great time to celebrate the achievements of our student organizations and also to be recognized amongst peers for all that they do.
In addition to recognizing some of our annual awards, we also provide FREE food for all attendees and give away some great door prizes. This year's event will be held in UU100 from 11:30am - 1:30pm. The Student Leader Photo will be taken at 12:15pm and the awards ceremony will begin right after. Be sure to have your organization leaders present for these two great recognition opportunities.
