| The Graduate School at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington administers programs leading to the Master of Business Administration; the Master of Education; Master of Science in biology, chemistry, computer science and information systems, geology, instructional technology, mathematics, marine science and marine biology; Master of Arts in English, history, liberal studies and psychology; Master of School Administration; the Master of Arts in Teaching; the Master of Science in Accountancy; the master of Fine Arts in creative writing; the Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Public Administration, Master of Social Work, Ph.D. in marine biology, and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Programs in gerontology, environmental studies, instructional technology specialist, and Hispanic studies. Non-degree Graduate Students in Education Students who are not seeking a graduate degree but wish to enroll in summer graduate courses in education to renew their certificates, may apply for admission as non-degree graduate students. Applications are available online. University of North Carolina Wilmington - Graduate School Re-enrolling Students Re-enrolling students (those students who have been admitted to a graduate program but did not attend during spring semester) must complete the re-enrollment form and have it approved 30 days prior to registration. University of North Carolina Wilmington - Graduate School Visiting Students Graduate students who are interested in attending UNCW as a visiting student should contact the Graduate School for application procedures and information. Applications must be received in the Graduate School sixty (60) days in advance of the term in which admission is sought. Preregistration Graduate students enrolled spring 2008 may pre-register for summer courses on April 1. Tuition and fees must be paid in order to maintain registration. Registration Graduate students may register using SEANET. They should contact the graduate coordinator in their area for their pre-registration number. Drop/Add Drop/add will be done through the SEANET registration system. Withdrawal To withdraw from the university or from individual classes the student must report to the Graduate School and fill out an official withdrawal form by June 9 for Session I and July 16 for Session II. A grade of W will be assigned. Failure to do so by these dates results in a grade of F. Graduation Application Deadlines November 15- Graduation application deadline for graduate students who plan to graduate spring 2008. APRIL 15- Graduation application deadline for graduate students who plan to graduate summer and fall 2008. Graduate students planning to graduate should visit the website to complete the graduation application. University of North Carolina Wilmington - Graduate School Continuous Enrollment Policy Graduate students who have completed their course work and the number of thesis hours for credit required for their graduate degree but have not yet graduated must do one of the following: 1. Either sign up for GRC 600-01 Graduate Continuation by e-mailing Donna Lamont or 2.
