Visiting students from other accredited institutions may apply for summer courses at UNCW. Please follow the application instructions under 'Apply Today'! All applications are processed by the Office of Admissions. Once the application is processed, the Office of Admissions will mail a determination letter to the student's permanent address. Visiting students may not register for courses until their application has been processed and a letter of acceptance has been received.
Time tickets for course registration are assigned in SeaNet beginning April 16 for accepted summer visiting students. Please check SeaNet for your assigned time! This may be found in SeaNet, under Student Services and Financial Aid: "Registration" and then "Check Your Registration Status" to see when you can register, your student status, your academic status, registration overrides and other relevant information.
Visiting students who have applied and been accepted may register for Summer 2009 classes by accessing SeaNet. Your user ID for SeaNet will be a nine digit number that begins with "85" and your pin is initially your birth date in format mmddyy. You will be required to change your pin to another 6 digit number. You will also be required to supply a security question and answer. If you do not know your user ID, please follow the link on the user login page of SeaNet for assistance.
Visiting students do not need to attend orientation; however, if your admission status changes, you are required to attend the next available orientation.
