Our
department, located in Leutze Hall, offers a Bachelor
of Social Work degree and a Master of Social Work
degree. We offer this degree in the context of the College
of Arts and Sciences The degrees seek to:
- provide an educational program well-grounded
in the profession of social work as represented by the Council on
Social Work Education,
- respond to the need for professionally-trained
social workers in human and social services in the state and region,
and
- establish an academically sound professional
educational process consistent with the larger purposes and mission
of UNCW.
