Suzanna Bolin '97, '00M was named Pender County Teacher of the Year. Suzanna has taught special education at Burgaw Elementary School for the past three years. She taught at the high school level in Pender County for nine years
Russell Craze, '10M a science teacher at Greendale High School in Greendale, Wis., was chosen to participate in the 2012 Siemens Teachers as Researchers fellowship program. He will join a select group of middle and high school teachers from across the country who will work with the nation’s top scientists on short-term projects focused on the most current and innovative science research happening today. He will collaborate with scientists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Washington state and bring this real-world experience back to his classroom. Craze currently teaches a freshmen physical science course and the first biomedical Project Lead the Way course, Principles of Biomedical Sciences. Wesley Brown '09 works at Legion Studios and is the president of a non-profit theatre organization. He formed a theatre troupe in January 2010 and directed his first professional show, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog.” Another project was “Cannibal: The Musical” from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the writers of South Park and The Book of Mormon.

Amanda Guld, '05M is the director of professional development and training at Melmark, an organization serving adults and children with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders and other neurological and genetic disorders. She has a Ph.D. in special education and applied behavioral analysis from Ohio State University.
