What Your "Fellow" Fellows Are Up To...

Freshman Class:

Ivy McCreary and Matt Morris are your Freshmen Class Reps for 2007-2008!

The Freshmen class enjoyed a visit with their Pen Pals from Roland-Grise Middle School on March 13th.  They will also be taking part in the Luke Spooner Spina Bifida Fundraiser at the Roland-Grise gymnasium on April 22nd from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Sophomore Class: 

Sophomore Class Reps are Jacqui Dalessio and Carie Williamson.

Maryanne Garris is on the Travel/Conferences Committee while Breana Van Velzen and Caroline Medford are on the Outreach Committee this year!

The Sophomore class has been busy in their interships and writing out their reflections so they can R-E-L-A-X over Spring Break!

Congratulations to Hannah Pressley who will be getting married on March 7th!!

Caitlin Collins is having a wonderful time in Spain.  She says that the town of Sevilla is beautiful and she has had the opportunity to travel to other towns in Spain and some in Europe.  She says her classes are hard but she's adjusting quite well! 

Over Spring Break, Nick Corak and Justin Fischetti will be traveling to Canada, while Rachel Creech is going to the Bahamas and Katie Pritchard is going to the Virgin Islands!

Aubrey Holloman and Jenny Walsh will be RA's next year!  Congratulations!!!!

Junior Class:

Junior Class Reps are Brittany Matthews and Lindsay Watkins.

Shannon Owens and Lauren Bailey are on the Social Committee while Tana Sisler and Jessica Marva are on the Travel/Conferences Committee this year!  In addition, Madison Horeth and Melody Wells are on the Recruitment Committee and Lauren Abernethy and Hayley Fields will be on the Publicity Committee.

The Junior Class has been busy "shadowing" their Principals at local schools and will exhange ideas they have picked up when class resumes in March.  They are also preparing for Relay for Life.  Follow these steps to register:

Visit www.newhanoverrelay.org and click on on-line registration and participation at the top of the site.  On the left column, click on team listing and find UNCW Teaching Fellows.  Click on "join team" and fill out the information.  You will set a username and password along with your personal goal.  You should set your personal goal higher than the amount you think you need so that when people visit the site to donate money, they can see you still need donations.  You can use the email option to send personalized emails to family and friends asking them to sponsor you in the walk.  Remember, short and personal works best!!

Senior Class: 

Senior Class Reps are Jennifer Rausch and Sarah Payne.                                                                

The Senior class is well under way into student teaching! 

Nikki Lamb and Justin Dellinger will be getting married soon (dates to be announced). 

Natalie Swanson will also soon be getting married (date to be announced).

Congratulations to Chip Baker who recently popped the question! 

Jillian Cleveland also recently got engaged!!  

Also, Jill and Jennifer Rausch will be traveling to Japan this summer with Dr. Walker!  Such exciting events going on in the lives of our senior class!!
