Welcome to a brand new year and to a semester full of excitement and promise.  This spring we look forward to meeting future Seahawk Fellows as we host our annual Open House and Regional Screening activities.  While I am braving the busy streets of New York City, you are never far from my thoughts.  I hope you all have a wonderful start to the semester and I know that there are many great adventures awaiting us all.

I promise I'll be seeing you soon!

Welcome Back,

I hope everyone had an enjoyable, restful break!!!!  I was thinking about all of you as I was enjoying the warm weather of San Juan, Puerto Rico!!!!!  Classes are now back in full swing and we in the Teaching Fellows office are moving full force towards a productive semester.  With KB being in New York for the time, everyone is going to have to contribute more so we see that our program continues in a successful direction.  I am declaring 2008 as a year for "honest, open communication".  I will strive to make contact with as many Fellows as possible, in hopes of making UNCW Teaching Fellows more student-led.  I am excited as we ring in the New Year because with it comes new ideas and new opportunities for leadership.  For those who are student teaching, I wish you all the best!!!!!  I hope everyone has a great semester as we work together for the common good!!!!!  Please keep in touch, as I will be in touch with all of you!!!!

Sincerely yours,
-Zack Grant
