Mini biography

Feuer, which means 'Fire' in German and is pronounced like "foyer", was born in New Haven, Connecticut. After serving three years in a combat unit in the Israeli Air Force, he attended the University of North Carolina, graduated Hunter College in NYC and starred in many theater productions. An eye witness to the 9/11 tragedy, Feuer packed up and moved to the West Coast. Upon his arrival to Hollywood he immediately landed a role on the hit show "JAG" (1995) and succeeded in booking roles, without an agent, on such shows as "The Bernie Mac Show" (2001) and "Strong Medicine" (2000). His "big break" came just after a bit-part in the Michael Jackson flopper Miss Cast Away (2004), when he was discovered by Steven Spielberg and cast as Yosef Romano in the highly acclaimed, much talked about controversial film Munich (2005), which was nominated for 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Parallel to the success of his acting career, Feuer also accomplished what many in Hollywood would say is impossible - producing the multi-million dollar feature film The First Grader (2007) with BBC Films as his first feature with producing partner Richard Harding and their Sixth Sense Productions. In his spare time, Feuer enjoys playing tennis and basketball, surfing, hiking and writing.

Personal quotes

"One of the most surreal moments in my life was driving down Sunset Boulevard and seeing that the huge billboard of Miss Cast Away with Michael Jackson, which is considered the 2nd worst movie of all time, had been replaced with the billboard of Munich, one of the best movies of all time. It really put my career in retrospect."
