Theatre Summer camps 2008

Finding stimulating and entertaining outlets for your child is no easy task during the summer months. If you'd like your child to be in a challenging and artistic environment which is safe and nurturing please consider our newly formed theatre camp. Theatre is a great way for youngsters to learn social and collaborative skills while developing confidence in public performance.

June 23 through June 27, 2008 we are holding back-to-back drama and dance camps from Monday through Friday.
1/2 day Drama Camp: 8:00 a.m. - noon in SRO Theatre, Cultural Arts Building, UNCW campus.
1/2 day Dance Camp: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Dance Studio, Cultural Arts Building, UNCW campus.
Full day Drama/Dance Camp 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (BYO lunch - in the Green Room)

The weekly tuition for the camp is only $135 per student 1/2 day, $195 per student full day. Discounts available*. Tuition includes training in acting, voice work and movement, as well as games and improvisation. The week will culminate in a small performance by students.
The Creative Drama Camp is directed by Marimar McNaughton, writer and educator of children's theatre
The Creative Dance Camp is directed by Clay Daniel, MFA dance
College students will serve as staff so that all campers will be afforded small group and individual attention.

* Family rate for second child $100 for 1/2 day, $150 for full day

After that date, a late fee of $20 per camper applies.
