  from 3:00pm-7:00pm
• May 24, 2013 from 3:00-5:00pm

Parents, please have your student call to ask questions regarding their future courses. Since students will be taking the courses and not parents, we want students to take initiative to ask questions about their future.

If students are unable to call, they should email us with their questions.

UNCW Early-Registration Advising

Welcome

Welcome to UNCW. This web tutorial is for incoming freshmen for Fall 2013 and it will help you register for your first semester of classes. Students who signed up for their Orientation session by May 8, 2013 will be eligible for early course registration. Students not meeting the May 8, 2013 deadline will be able to sign up for courses only at Orientation. After reviewing the tutorial, you will be able to register for courses starting May 20, 2013 at 3:00pm until May 24, 2013 at 5:00pm.

You will need to watch and review each video and check links to learn more about courses and course requirements at UNCW. If you have questions during Early-Registration after you watch all the videos, an advisor will be on call from

• May 20-23, 2013 from 3:00-7:00pm
• May 24, 2013 from 3:00-5:00pm

• Basics of College provides you with vocabulary terms used at UNCW for college classes and schedules.
• University Studies describes the general education curriculum you will have to complete before you graduate and some classes you can choose to take in the spring semester.
• SeaNet & Registration guides you through the registration process. Don't forget to write down your ALT PIN from the video for registration on
  May 20-24, 2013.
• Special Programs & Learning Communities gives specific information to those populations of students.
• Useful Links includes our contact information and contact information of multiple offices around campus.

Please pay attention to each page and remember you can re-visit this information at any time if you have any questions. Videos accompany each page to help you with the Registration Process. One video even has the ALT PIN that you will need to register for courses.

For Parents!

We want you to be part of your student's education, however, please let your student complete this tutorial. You can be present as he/she goes through the tutorial, but the information the student will learn is vital to their successful registration process for years to come. Parents please notice the information in the right-hand column regarding calling University College. We want you to be involved in your student's college experience, however if you call, we will ask to speak with your student.
