Annual Giving Clubs

UNCW recognizes contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations to the University of North Carolina Wilmington through a system of annual leadership clubs and lifetime leadership societies. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent of current IRS regulations. Club recognition levels are based on the gift amounts donors contribute within a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).

Eligibility for UNCW’s annual leadership clubs is based upon giving to the university during the fiscal year (July 1-June 30). For more information about the giving clubs and societies, please contact Melissa Kennedy, Director of Annual Giving, at (910) 962-2049.

During the academic year, donors receive invitations to receptions and events especially for their club. Please contact Claire Stanley, Director of Donor Relations, at (910) 962-3169, for Information about programs and events for giving club members.

Chancellor's Club ($2,500*+)

• Invitation to an annual event with the Chancellor and Board of Trustees
• Official gift acknowledgement (tax receipt)

*Young alumni are invited to become members of this distinguished group at a discounted amount, based upon how recently they graduated from UNCW.

$250+ Alumni who graduated between 2006 and 2009

$500+ Alumni who graduated between 2002 and 2005

$1,000+ Alumni who graduated between 1999 and 2001

$2,500+ Friends and alumni who graduated in 1998 and earlier
