The UNCW Annual Giving Student Calling Center contributes to the university in significant ways - it provides dozens of students with hands-on professional experience and raises much-needed support for academic, athletic and co-curricular programs. The student callers truly enjoy sharing their Seahawk spirit with alumni, parents, friends and other UNCW donors. They know that a successful calling center program will help UNCW continue to offer powerful learning experiences for all students.
The student callers have diverse backgrounds, interests and majors, but they are united in their love for UNCW. The calling center connects today's students to alumni and friends, enabling them to celebrate the UNCW experience together.
The calling center offers donors many ways to contribute to UNCW. During the call, you may make an immediate gift with your credit card or choose from a number of gift and pledge options; the callers can handle the process quickly and easily over the phone. Callers will also honor requests to send more information, gift forms and reminders in the mail.
How Your Gifts Help UNCW
Your gifts provide money for scholarships, fellowships and technological updates throughout campus. Gifts to individual departments fund research and technological perks such as computer system updating. Gifts also fund scholarships and fellowships within a specific department.
In addition, contributions from alumni and other supporters are one of several areas evaluated in college rankings. For the ninth consecutive year, UNCW has been recognized as one of the top 10 public comprehensive universities in the South in annual college rankings by U.S.News & World Report.
Many corporations and businesses will match employee gifts to charitable organizations. Check with your employer to find out if your company matches charitable donations.
