Graduate Student Web Content Editors
for Fall 2014
Web Content Managers:
If you have graduate student web content editors for the Fall 2014 semester, please complete a new Request to Grant Graduate Student Access to Website Directory for each student. These are valid for only one semester, so if they continue, you will need to complete one for the Spring 2015 semester as well.
We will use these forms to grant/extend permissions for trained graduate students to edit your website. In this way, we can keep track of which students have permissions and which students have moved on.
Here is the form. You can return it to the Webmaster via Campus Mail (CBX 5908) or email a PDF copy of the signed form (allenl or arbogasta).
Thank you for your help!
Student Organization Web Content Editors
for Fall 2014
Advisors and presidents of student organizations:
It would help us very much if you would email us a list of the CURRENT web content managers and editors of your student organization website. There are several websites on the Student Server that either have no one to update their content, or have changed webmasters. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Official Web Space
UNCW provides space on the main website (uncw.edu; uncwweb server) for constituent groups such as schools, departments and programs. This website is considered an official publication of UNCW and is managed jointly by ITSD and the Office of University Relations.
Personal Websites for Faculty, Staff, Students
(and Student Organizations)
Personal Web space is provided for faculty, staff and students on the uncwpeople (people.uncw.edu; faculty and staff) and uncwstudent (student.uncw.edu; students) Web servers. Student organizations are also provided Web space on the uncwstudent server (student.uncw.edu/org/).
All content managers who publish information to the UNCW website must be familiar with and abide by the following style guidelines and policies:
