Change in UNCW’s
Family and Medical Leave Policies

These changes reflect a more family-friendly campus!  Faculty members utilizing the salary continuation policy, with the guaranteed 90 days of paid leave, will have their tenure “clocks” or post-tenure review “clocks” stopped for one year (faculty members may either modify or decline this default).  This paid leave and postponement apply in the case of eligible parental leave, family leave, or medical leave situations.
