Other exciting women’s studies internship opportunities are available throughout North Carolina and the United States. Students interested in enrolling in the Internship in Women's Studies must have junior or senior standing and have completed a minimum of 12 hours in coursework in women’s studies or obtain consent of the Women’s Studies coordinator. Area of concentration, requirements, and means of evaluation will be defined in consultation with supervising faculty. Students who are currently enrolled in the WMS minor course of study may choose to earn 1-3 credit hours for an independent project completed within one semester. The project will involve investigation of an approved topic under faculty supervision, beyond what is offered in existing courses.
