Women's and Gender Studies Student Association (WSSA) at UNCW

WSSA engages students to promote gender equality, both locally and globally, through a variety of programming, volunteerism and dialogue opportunities. It seeks to educate its members on the societal implications of gender inequality and to propose positive change. Its members are devoted to the empowerment of women and girls through education and community outreach, particularly the annual UNCW benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues.
