Atlantic-10 Conference champion George Washington erased an 18-point deficit in the second half to force overtime and then outlasted UNC Wilmington for an 88-85 overtime victory over the Seahawks in an NCAA Tournament first-round game Thursday, March 16, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Colonials, the No. 8 seed in the Atlanta Regional, improved to 27-2 on the season and will meet top-seeded Duke Saturday, March 18, in a second-round matchup.
