UNCW's theatre and dance productions are widely attended by Wilmington residents as well as people from the broader community. For instance, more than 2,000 local school children will be bussed to campus to attend UNCW theatre productions this season.
Each academic year, UNCW offers four theatre productions and a varying number of dance performances. Productions currently take place in Kenan Auditorium or in the SRO theater in Kenan Hall. The department is slated to move next fall into a newly constructed, state-of-the- art cultural arts building which will include two new theaters.
Tickets for all shows cost $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for general admission. Discounted rates are available for groups.

Summer Camp
In 2006, UNCW's theatre department will offer its first summer theatre camp. "Seahawk Scene Stealers," a camp for children in rising 5th through 8th grades, will take place the week of June 19-30. Call (910) 962-3440 for more information
