Randall Library Reader’s Program
Randall Library coordinates the Readers Program, which matches students with disabilities with fellow students who will pull books and journals, make photocopies, and act as "eyes and hands" for necessary computer work. This program is supported by student volunteers from the Center for Leadership Education and Service (CLES), and is managed by the Coordinator of Research & Information Services (Lisa Williams, 910-962-3688, or williamsl@uncw.edu).
One Book, One Community
In partnership with UNCW Randall Library, New Hanover County Public Library, the Cape Fear Community College Learning Resource center, and the New Hanover County High School Lyceum Academy, this program is designed to celebrate literacy and the unique and enriching experience of one book being read by our entire community. Once a year, everyone reads the same book. You are invited to attend various events and readings to discuss the book and your experience.
For more information about the program, contact Beth Kaylor at the Randall Library at (910) 962-4232.
