UNCW history camps makes the news!

Travel back in time with Youth Programs as we explore the history of the Cape Fear. Visit historic sites and relive important events that shaped our region. Get to know some impressive men, women and even young people who played a prominent role in our past. Learn how historians study documents and artifacts to recreate the story of people and place in time. Participate in re-enactments and see if you can change the course of history.

Summer 2012 Camp registration is now closed:

• Coastal Warriors (for boys ages 9-12) returning 12-13 year olds will be enlisted in the junior officer corps
• Coastal Warrior Women (for girls ages 9-11)
• Threads of Time (ages 12-14) create historic costume reproductions
