Robert Boyce: Associate Professor

Robert W. Boyce, Ph.D., FACSM received his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. Awarded the title of Fellow by the American College of Sports Medicine, Dr. Boyce holds their highest preventive and rehabilitation certification. He is the founder and past director of the Occupational Physiology Forum for the American College of Sports Medicine. Currently, Dr. Boyce is an associate professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) in the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences where he teaches human anatomy, physiology and exercise physiology. His research emphasis is the area of occupational physiology primarily concerning police physical fitness.
