Creating an Inclusive Work Environment

If your customer base is diverse, you need evidence of diversity and inclusion in your work environment to be a successful organization.
In the case of UNCW, our students and other constituents are our “clients.” This workshop will help you become more effective at meeting the needs of your clients by way of intentionality, speci cally related to diversity and inclusion.

We want to make our work environments more deliberately inclusive and diversity-conscious. The work starts with you, the leader, as you develop a broader lens. Participants will rst establish where they currently are and use that as a foundation on which to envision inclusive growth in their department

Generational Diversity in the Workplace

Working today often means joining a team with a range of ages. From millenials to Generation X-ers to Baby Boomers, the di erences in values, communication styles, and work habits of each generation are becoming increasingly evident. Getting a handle on how to navigate this sometimes rugged terrain can be more than challenging.

This workshop will provide supervisors and administrators with the tools needed to help clarify and better manage the various dynamics at play. Through interactive skill-building exercises and candid open dialogue, what may seem daunting will become attainable. O ce culture CAN be adjusted in ways that t and address the needs of all concerned - join us to learn how.
