Sustainability 2.0 Funding for 1819

Additional Funding Available! Sustainability 2.0 Awards now accepting applications until April 6th!

ETEAL, CSURF, and Honors are excited to once again open applications for Sustainability 2.0 funding! These time-limited awards are available to previously funded ETEAL or SURCA projects and have successfully seen their projects through to completion. Grab an application and describe how you plan to enhance, expand, or improve your ongoing applied learning project and you could receive up to $2,500.00 in funding support. Sustainability 2.0 projects have the same assessment requirements as standard ETEAL Pedagogy Initiatives and SURCA projects and all funds must be expended before May 15th, 2018. Applied Learning Funding

Apply for funding now using the Combined Application for your Applied Learning Project!

This semester, ETEAL has partnered with Honors, CSURF, and the Office of Community Engagement to release the new Combined Application for Applied Learning Funding. Using this new tool, you can apply for ETEAL pedagogy initiatives, SURCA funding, Community Engagement Grants, or Cultural Activities Grants all in a simple online application. Apply by March 15th, 5:00pm to receive funding consideration.

The 12th Annual Conference on Applied Learning in Higher Education (CALHE)

In partnership with Missouri Western State University, the 12th Annual Conference on Applied Learning in Higher Education (CALHE) will take place at UNCW on March 8th through March 10th, 2018! 

This years' conference theme will examine "The Impact of Applied Learning.” The theme should allow and encourage submissions that share the impact of Applied Learning Activities in all of its forms and types. Submissions might address the results of an applied learning experience using qualitative or quantitative data, or submissions might address community impact or engagement. Submissions are encouraged addressing the conference theme but all Applied Learning submissions are welcome.

UNCW's Applied Learning Gallery - Now open for Student Submissions!
Undergraduate Studies in collaboration with the Career Center and Randall Library launched its online applied learning gallery highlighting the many exemplary hands-on projects taking place at UNCW. Browse the dozens of applied learning projects and experiences here and if you're a student, you can submit your own applied learning experience here as well!
