Performance by Dance Company Step Afrika

Thursday, October 18

The dance company Step Afrika! will bring the African-American tradition of “stepping” to the stage of Kenan Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18. In stepping, the body is used as an instrument to create intricate rhythms and sounds through a combination of footsteps, claps and the unspoken word. Their performance is part of the 27th season of UNCW Presents.

Tickets are $20-50 with special prices for UNCW students, faculty and staff and are available online or at the Kenan Box Office Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
