Deborah Lipstadt, former ambassador in the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism and distinguished university professor at Emory University, will deliver a keynote speech and Q&A session from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 in Kenan Auditorium.

From 2022-25, Lipstadt lead efforts to advance U.S. foreign policy to counter antisemitism throughout the world and spearheaded the effort to create the Global Guidelines to Combat Antisemitism. As of January 2025, those guidelines have been endorsed by 39 nations and four multilateral organizations, including European Union and the Organization for American States.
