The University of North Carolina Wilmington's Department of Art and Art History, in partnership with the Cameron Art Museum for its visiting artist program, is pleased to welcome internationally acclaimed artist Mel Chin for a public artist talk on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Cameron Art Museum.

A recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship and an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Chin is widely recognized for expanding the possibilities of contemporary art through sustained collaborations with scientists, educators, communities, and cultural institutions.

Students and educators can attend this event free of charge. Otherwise, tickets are $10 for CAM members and $15 for non-members.
