FacultyLead - Call for Applications Open!
Ready to explore academic leadership at UNCW? Applications are now open for FacultyLead 2027, a new professional development program for faculty interested in future leadership roles such as department chair, program coordinator, and more. Develop practical leadership skills connect with colleagues across campus build confidence for future opportunities. Apply through InfoReady by November 8.
Waves of Distinction Celebration
On September 10, 2026 the Office of Faculty Affairs celebrated 135 faculty who received promotion, tenure, or successful post-tenure review in the 2025-2026 academic year! Congratulations!
On August 5-6, 2026, UNCW welcomed 74 new faculty to the Seahawk community. The two-day orientation introduced faculty to the important aspects of life at UNCW and provided an opportunity to network with new and existing faculty members.
Faculty Awards Celebration
On April 28, 2026, UNCW and the Office of Faculty Affairs recognized faculty who made significant contributions in teaching, research and service.
