New Policy: Animals on Campus (05.361)

UNCW has approved a new policy, Animals on Campus (05.361), which establishes a process for university departments and registered student organizations (RSO) to host programs involving approved domesticated animals in designated outdoor campus spaces. Departments and RSOs wishing to request approval for such programs, which may include co-sponsorship by non-UNCW organizations, should review the policy and request a copy of the associated Procedures and Application Form. Requests can be routed through UNCW Environmental Health & Safety at EHSStaff@uncw.edu.

Policy 05.361 is separate from and does not replace UNCW’s current policy (05.360) on Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals, and Pets.
