Andres C Luco
Lecturer
Andrés Luco (he/him) is a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy & Religion at UNC Wilmington. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Duke University. He formerly taught full-time at the University of Cape Town (South Africa), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and Auburn University (Alabama). He teaches primarily in ethics, and his research focuses on meta-ethics, moral psychology, and normative ethics. He has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on moral realism, the evolution of morality, moral progress, moral motivation, and reasons to be moral. He has also co-authored papers in educational technology and the ethics of AI.
