Ezgi Mahnken

Ezgi Mahnken is the Assistant Director of Academic Advising for the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (CHSSA). She provides leadership and support for academic advising across CHSSA departments. In this role, she works closely with academic advisors, faculty, and campus partners to strengthen advising practices, coordinate advising processes, and support student success. Ezgi enjoys building collaborative relationships across the university and helping create an advising experience that empowers students to make informed decisions about their academic and career goals.

Ezgi joined UNCW in 2022 as an academic advisor and later served as an Academic Advising Coordinator before becoming Assistant Director. Before joining UNCW, she spent three years as an academic advisor at Cape Fear Community College, where she primarily supported students preparing to transfer to four-year institutions. She holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University.
