Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff who wish to take courses for credit must apply through the Admissions Office prior to registering.

Faculty and staff who wish to audit a class will need to submit an online AUDIT ONLY (no credit) application within SeaNet choosing “Audit & ESL Application (Undergraduate)” within the Menu. Please be sure you have the instructor's permission to audit each course prior to submitting the application. The application must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar before the end of the add/drop period.

If you register for more than four (4) credit hours, you will need to comply with the immunization requirements under North Carolina state law. Please contact Student Health Services at (910) 962-3280 for more information.

Tuition Waiver/Benefit

All permanent University of North Carolina Wilmington employees participating in TSERS or ORP retirement systems are eligible for tuition waiver (fall and spring terms) or tuition benefit (summer terms) for three credit or non-credit courses per semester at UNC Wilmington and other branches of the UNC system. Also, permanent employees are eligible for the application fee benefit and undergraduate orientation fee waiver. See Human Resources' Tuition Waiver page for more information and forms.
