UNCW School of Nursing mourns the loss of December 2017 BSN graduate, Robyn Maule, 23

Dear School of Nursing Community,

It is with a very heavy heart that I pass on the information about the death of Robyn Maule, 23, one of our December Bachelor of Nursing Science graduates. Robyn participated in our December 2017 graduation recognition and awards ceremony on Friday.  I have attached her photo with faculty member Dr. Penny Sauer who pinned her at the ceremony.  Robyn had told several faculty she was pleased she had achieved her goals in our program and that she had accepted a position in a maternal/newborn nursing residency program that she described as her “dream job”.   A condolence book will be available at the Fisher Student Center information desk through mid-January.    The family will be taking Robyn back to England for services.  Please keep Robyn and her family in your thoughts. More...
