UNCW Transportation Services manages and facilitates the university's programs for alternative transportation methods.

We aim to provide safe and sustainable transportation methods to UNCW students and faculty.

About Us

Shuttle services are provided and help you get to and from campus safely. Additionally, Transportation Services maintains bicycle, skateboard and pedestrian amenities.

Sustainable transportation is better for your body, the environment and your wallet. Therefore, we encourage students to think about sustainability when getting to and around UNCW.

Students who do not drive a personal vehicle may bike, board, walk or take the shuttles. All Wave Shuttles are free with an active UNCW One Card.

Why Use an Alternative Form of Transportation?

Choosing alternative transportation methods like the shuttle, walking or biking reduces carbon dioxide emissions and heavy traffic.

Additionally, alternative transportation improves your health and saves money. Taking a 10-minute walk can improve mental clarity and help you feel less stressed.
