The Undergraduate Biotechnology Research Fellowship grant program: This spring to support student science and engineering research and foster interest in and preparation for careers in biotechnology. Undergraduate research funded in this program must have strong relevance to biotechnology science, technology, and applications. Fellowships are $5,000 per student.

Psi Chi Undergraduate Research Grants: Psi Chi is an international honor society in psychology. All undergraduate Psi Chi members are eligible to apply for these undergraduate research grants. The purpose of this program is to provide funds for members to defray the cost of conducting a research project. Applicants may request up to $1,500 for each project.

Sigma Xi Grants-in-Aid of Research: The program awards grants of up to $1,000 to undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of the sciences and engineering. Funds may be used for research (equipment, etc.) and travel expenses.

Amgen Scholars Program: Provides faculty-mentored summer research opportunities for undergraduates focused on science and biotechnology. The summer experience is anchored by a national symposium held at UCLA, and all Scholars attend.

SNCURCS George Barthalmus Memorial Research Grant for second-year undergraduates
Sophomores from all disiplines are eligable to apply for research grants for research done between October 2013-Fall 2014.
