Extremely emaciated bottlenose dolphin that
stranded on Holden Beach, NC on October 9,
2010.
The Holden Beach Police Department contacted the UNCW stranding team on October 9, 2010 about a dead dolphin on the beach. A beach necropsy was conducted on this extremely emaciated individual.
