The Payroll Department processes three monthly payrolls. There are two mid-month payrolls and one end of month payroll. Click on the links here or at the left for a detailed description of each payroll and deadlines.
Effective January 2008 the State of NC has mandated that all UNCW employees have their paychecks direct deposited to a checking or savings account. Please complete the Direct Deposit form (PDF), attach a voided check and submit to the Payroll Department as soon as you are hired by UNCW. Your first paycheck as a new employee is always a paper check and should be picked up on pay day at the Cashier's Office in Warwick Center.. The direct deposit will take effect with the second regular payroll check after receipt of the bank information.
