Assessment

University Studies components are assessed according to their alignment with UNCW’s Learning Goals (see how the University Studies components’ Student Learning Outcomes align to these goals here). Assessment provides faculty with the valuable opportunity to examine how well our curriculum is facilitating our students’ achievement of these Learning Goals.

The Office of General Education Assessment undertakes the assessment of all University Studies components according to a three-year recurring cycle.
