What is URI- Undergraduate Research Involvement-?
Students in any major at UNCW have the opportunity to work with faculty who can mentor them through the process of advancing the scholarly activity of their academic disciplines.
UNCW is launching the URI Project to gather information about the extent and breadth of extra-curricular research and creative scholary activities in which students are involved. Students can enter information about their URI at this site, plus apply to be recognized as UNCW Undergraduate Research URI Scholars.
The purpose of tracking Undergraduate Research Involvement (URI) is to recognize and encourage student involvement in scholarly activity with faculty and faculty involvement as mentors for undergraduate research experiences.
