Student-Centered Excellence, Life-Long Impact
The Division of Student Affairs advances student success by creating the conditions in which all students thrive academically, personally and professionally from enrollment through graduation and beyond.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Christine Reed Davis, the division launched its Strategic Plan: Student-Centered Excellence, Life-Long Impact in 2026-27. Over the next five years, the division will strengthen belonging, embed upstream wellbeing across the student experience, expand engagement in high-impact experiences that prepare students for post-graduation, and invest in the staff and partnerships that shape the student experience each day.
Because the plan is a living document, it will evolve as new objectives are solidified and existing efforts move forward. Student-Centered Excellence, Life-Long Impact centers around four strategic priorities that position Student Affairs to respond to the changing needs of today's students while continuing to shape the future of the Seahawk experience and advance the goals of UNCW's Strategic Plan: Soar Higher.
