Visual & Editorial Style

Welcome to UNCW's official style guide for color usage! Consistently using the colors specified in this guide will create a strong association with the university in your communications.

Our color style guide consists of a primary print palette, secondary colors, support colors and a web and digital palette. 

PMS, CMYK, RGB & HTML

Each official color has been assigned a PMS (Pantone Matching System), CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), RGB (red, green, blue), and HTML (hexadecimal) value to ensure accuracy and consistency. However, the web and digital color palette does not have PMS or CMYK assigned values. Thank you for following our official color guidelines and helping to maintain our strong brand identity.

Primary Color Palette

Our primary color palette consists of the teal of the ocean, the gold of the sand and the navy of the deep sea. Teal should be featured in all your color-based communications.
