Leadership isn’t only a position. It is the skills one develops, experiences accumulated, and the actions one takes.

We can help you develop the skills you need and find meaning in your experiences.

Employee Learning and Talent Development offers a variety of in-person leadership programs for employees at all career stages.

Leadership Development Cohorts

Leadership Exploration:

Customized for employees with 1-3 years of professional experience.
Cohort meets once a month in Administrative Annex 1002.

Meeting Dates and Times

September 2, 1pm-3pm
October 21, 1pm-3pm
November 18, 1pm-3pm
December 16, 1pm-3pm

Leading from your position
Professional Foundations
Interpersonal Skills & Emotional Intelligence
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving
Professionalism and Networking
Leadership Exploration and Development Plan

Emerging Leadership Development

Customized for employees who have not supervised professional employees and have 3+ years of professional experience.
Cohort meets once a month in Administrative Annex 1002.

Exploring the Top Skills for possible supervisors
Self-Awareness
Stretch Assignments
Leading from your position

Supervisor Development

Customized for current supervisors of professional employees.
Participants will choose one cohort to participate with and register for those dates.
Cohorts meet once a month for 1 semester in Administrative Annex 1002.

November 4, 2pm-5pm
December 2, 2pm-5pm
January 20, 2pm-5pm
February 10, 2pm-5pm

Providing quality feedback
Navigating difficult conversations
Engaging Your Employees

Interested participants should register for the October date in the Cornerstone Learning Management System. Once registered, you will be administratively added to the other dates by our team.
