|Mallory Blackwood, '15, Psychology||I am at a masters program at University College London studying Clinical Neuroscience and doing research in outcomes in epilepsy surgery.|
|Rebecca Brasso, '04, Marine Biology||Started as as Assistant Professor of Biology at Southeast Missouri State University in Fall 2015. Hired as the wildlife toxicologist.|
|Megan Ennes, '06, Marine Biology and Education||I have started my PhD in Science Education at NC State. I am working with Dr. Gail Jones.|
|Kim Epting, '95, Psychology||After obtaining a masters degree in psychology from UNCW as well, I obtained my PhD in Experimental Psychology from Auburn University. Since 2007, I have been in the psychology department at Elon University in North Carolina. I am a tenured associate professor in psychology and teach courses such as Psychology of Learning, Psychology of Language, Cognitive Psychology, and Empirical Senior Seminar. I recently received the Excellence in Teaching Award (2014) for Elon College, College of Arts and Sciences. In 2014, I also received the John R. Hayes Award for Research in Writing. I am also the current Coordinator for the Women's, Gender, and Sexualities Studies Interdisciplinary Minor at Elon University. I am also a very active volunteer at Conservator's Center.|
|Sarah Milliken-Glabe, '03, Marine Biology||I completed a Pediatric residency at Michigan State University/Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids in 2011. I returned to the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora to complete an Anesthesiology residency and graduated in 2014, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at the Children's Hospital Colorado. In looking for my first real job I decided on a private practice position as the Co-Director of Pediatric Anesthesia for Pikes Peaks Anesthesia Associates in my hometown of Colorado Springs, CO. And in between all the training and studying in 2012 I was married and in 2014 we welcomed our fabulous son Landon. Life is busy, but great.|
|Kate Sherwood, '15, Anthropology||I have returned to the Skeletal Biology Program at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History as scientific photographer and research assistant! I did my summer 2014 REU with Dr. Doug Owsley and his team so it is such an honor to be back working in his office full time.|
|Christine York, '08, Film Studies and Creative Writing||Graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law in May where I was Chair of the Honor Council, Executive Editor for the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, a member of the National Trial Team, a member of the Moot Court Board and a TA for several classes. I passed the North Carolina bar exam in July and, after a trip to Kauai with my sister, am now an Associate with the Financial Services team at Moore & Van Allen in Charlotte. Still miss Wilmington!|
