QENO New Director Academy Duke Energy

First QENO New Director Academy Sponsored by Duke Energy Foundation is a SUCCESS!

QENO's New Director Academy participants completed a 9-month leadership series for executive directors in their role four years or less.   Participants learned how to handle various challenges they face as well as board governance, financial management, leadership, administrative accountability, and organizational change.     Results from a self-efficacy pre-test/post-test comparison showed a 25% confidence increase in issues related to organizational change and administrative and financial accountability. Most notable was a 49% confidence increase in addressing difficult board conversations, a 41% increase in confidence that they have the necessary tools to be a successful director, and a 37% confidence increase in their ability to oversee and strengthen financial systems.

We are so proud of all the hard work these directors put in over the last nine months! It has been a pleasure to watch them grow as leaders and individuals.      New Director Academy   Participants:
