Kenan Auditorium
The 1000-seat Sarah Graham Kenan Auditorium, managed by the UNCW Office of Cultural Arts, is the largest performing arts venue in the Wilmington area. It is home to over 170 events per year, including performances by the North Carolina Symphony and Wilmington Symphony Orchestra, as well as a wide range of internationally- acclaimed performers presented by organizations such as the Wilmington Concert Association, Cape Fear Jazz Society, UNCW Presents and the UNCW Office of Cultural Arts.
In September 2006 a newly-renovated Kenan Auditorium re-opened. Since that time a diverse line-up of artists have graced the stage. From jazz great Wynton Marsalis to soprano Jessye Norman and the dance companies of Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey, Kenan Auditorium remains a home for internationally-acclaimed artists visiting Southeastern North Carolina.
